I am very excited to launch our brand new feature, P&G Smiles blog, that will showcase various topics related to the orthodontic field.
In this digital era, there is a plethora of information on every possible topic. While there is access to a lot of information, this inundation often causes confusion and uncertainty. In addition, much of the information available on the world wide web can be quite generic and generalized. My goal with this blog is to convey professional opinions through my lens as a specialist in the field of orthodontics with over two decades of experience in the dental field. My intent is to keep the content less academic and more relevant to patient and public awareness. While some of the content will be general, inadvertently the topics could be more relevant to the Las Vegas, Nevada region where all P&G Orthodontics locations reside.
The three main pillars, P&G Orthodontics practice philosophy hinges on, are affordability, quality and access. Affordability is the most critical treatment decision making aspect for most people. On this note, the most common inquiries we receive are related to treatment cost and more specifically insurance coverage. As such, the first series of posts will focus on insurance and cost related topics. Based on inquiries and trends, I will also attempt to discuss some important clinical aspects, new products and services related to orthodontic treatment in upcoming posts.
I plan on posting new topics on a weekly basis. Periodically, I will invite other doctors, staff and guests to share their views on some topics. Wish me luck on this new journey 😊
